How to Herd Cats

In Cats on January 4, 2009 at 10:38 am

It’s so easy, it erases the cliche.

1. Train your cats to be indoor/outdoor in Northern California, in an apartment complex featuring acres of nice, chunky mulch.

2. Move with said cats to Montana in early January. There, the ground is covered not in scratchable, litter-like mulch, but snow and ice.

3. After two weeks of keeping cats indoors as they re-orient themselves in their new environment, open the back door.

4. Rest assured as you observe the cats take a few steps out, and look around as if to say, “What is this shit?”

5. Watch the cats herd themselves back indoors as quick as a Whoosh.
